Loving the stranger

“Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.”  –  Ephesians 6:7-8

You already love your Heavenly Father, and you know that this stranger – created by Him –  but separated from Him, so take those first steps in evangelism because you love God.  It is not primarily out of a compassion for humanity that we share our faith or pray for the lost – it is first, love for God.

  1. It is important to remember that love is not a feeling but a correctness. The feeling most associate as love is the byproduct of love as an affirmation that something is perfectly suited and acceptable to the higher rationale, so to “love” God is to know righteousness as God is perfect correctness. Thus God is love and to know love is to be as both creation and creator in everything. Perfect truth creates perfect harmony perfected in love.
